Main structure
Bucket Wheel: The core excavation component, composed of multiple buckets, cuts and collects mud when rotating.
Suction pipe and mud pump: Mix the materials excavated by the bucket wheel into mud and transport them to the mud discharge area through pipelines.
Propulsion and positioning system: Usually equipped with anchor piles, winches or thrusters to ensure operational stability.
Power system: Diesel engine or electric motor drive, providing excavation and transportation power.
Working principle
Excavation: The bucket wheel rotates to cut the riverbed/seabed materials, and the bucket lifts the mud to the unloading point.
Mixing and suction: The materials are mixed with water into mud, which is transported to the yard or barge through pipelines by mud pumps.
Drainage: Discharge to a designated area through a floating pipeline or directly.
